Streaming via NVENC is generally recommended over x264 for most users, as it offloads the encoding process to the GPU, resulting in better performance and lower impact on the CPU. NVENC also typically provides better quality at lower bitrates compared to x264. However, x264 may be preferred for users who have a powerful CPU and want more control over the encoding settings for specific streaming requirements. Ultimately, the choice between NVENC and x264 depends on the user's hardware capabilities and streaming needs. **

Streaming with NVENC new is generally recommended over x264 for most users due to its lower impact on CPU usage and better performance in terms of encoding speed. NVENC new utilizes the dedicated hardware encoder on NVIDIA GPUs to offload the encoding process from the CPU, resulting in smoother streaming and gameplay. However, x264 may still be preferred by some users who prioritize higher quality encoding and have a powerful CPU to handle the workload. Ultimately, the choice between NVENC new and x264 depends on individual preferences and hardware capabilities. **

Yes, the GT 1030 does support NVENC for OBS. NVENC is a hardware-based encoding technology developed by Nvidia that allows for efficient video encoding. This means that the GT 1030 can offload the video encoding process from the CPU to the GPU, resulting in improved performance and reduced strain on the system. OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) is a popular streaming and recording software that can take advantage of NVENC for encoding video. Therefore, users with a GT 1030 can utilize NVENC with OBS for their streaming and recording needs. **

The choice between x264 and NVENC depends on the specific use case and requirements. x264 is a software encoder that provides high-quality encoding but can be more CPU-intensive. NVENC, on the other hand, is a hardware encoder provided by NVIDIA that offloads the encoding process to the GPU, resulting in lower CPU usage. NVENC is generally preferred for real-time streaming and gaming applications where CPU resources need to be preserved for other tasks, while x264 may be preferred for offline encoding where quality is the primary concern. Ultimately, the better encoder will depend on the specific needs of the user. **

One should not use NVENC when streaming in OBS if they have a powerful CPU that can handle the encoding process. NVENC is a hardware encoder that offloads the encoding process from the CPU to the GPU, but it may not provide the same level of quality and control as CPU encoding. Additionally, using NVENC may limit the ability to use certain streaming features and settings, and it may not be as efficient as CPU encoding for certain streaming scenarios. Therefore, if one has a capable CPU, it is recommended to use CPU encoding for streaming in OBS. **

For Streamlabs, it is recommended to use NVENC New encoder if you have a compatible NVIDIA graphics card. NVENC New utilizes the GPU to handle the encoding process, resulting in better performance and lower CPU usage compared to x264. However, if you do not have a compatible NVIDIA graphics card, x264 is a good alternative as it relies on the CPU for encoding. Ultimately, the choice between the two encoders depends on your hardware configuration and personal preference. **

To stream with Streamlabs OBS using hardware NVENC, you can go to Settings > Output > Encoder and select NVENC. This will utilize your GPU for encoding, resulting in better performance. If you prefer to use software x264 encoding, you can select x264 as the encoder in the same Output settings. Keep in mind that software x264 encoding may require more CPU resources compared to hardware NVENC. **

Despite having a 2060 Super and NVENC New, there may still be instances of skipped frames in PUBG. Skipped frames can occur due to various reasons such as network issues, CPU limitations, or software conflicts. It's important to ensure that your system meets the recommended requirements for PUBG and that all drivers are up to date. Additionally, optimizing in-game settings and ensuring a stable internet connection can help reduce the likelihood of skipped frames. **
